For the last couple of days I have had a film on my teeth that is very irritating. It sort of feels like plaque, but when I brush my teeth it doesn't come all the way off. I even brushed my teeth hard enough that some of my gums hurt. I did use my fingernail to see if I could scrape the stuff off and I can, but it's just kind of strange to me.
I don't know what is on my teeth and I don't know what is causing it.
I started taking an antibiotic about a week ago (500mg Amoxicillin, 3 times daily for 10 days) and that's the only thing I can think of that I'm doing differently. Can the antibiotic cause a change in my teeth? Or might it be something else? |
